Sorry, it's maybe not politically correct, and maybe these two guys can do whatever they like, but in my book, for them to leave Knoxville and go to the cow pasture, Clemson, is utter betrayal. I hope as long as they live, they are never welcomed back into the city and school they betrayed.

If they're leaving for better passing offense, fine. I doubt the Clemson QB will be a lot better passer than Dormady or Guarantano. I doubt their line will be better than ours next year. What's the deal here? Is a big investigation coming to Sweeney in the cow pasture? Too much success too soon for a guy on the hot seat just a few years ago.

These boys better think.

Can you seriously blame them? Clemson is going to the CFB playoff for the 2nd straight season while Tennessee will more then likely be looking for a new coach in 2018 after we run CBJ off for not winning the division next season...

They didn't betray Tennessee... They simply saw a better opportunity and took it

Peyton left Mississippi. Recruits have to do what is best for them

I think Peyton actually lived in New Orleans--grew up there. His dad played for Mississippi--big difference.

We'll see. Everybody's got the right to do what they want. I've got the right to think their decision sucks--especially Higgins.

No ill will toward Tee because it is the smarter decision, but I honestly think the guy is overrated and always said that even before his commitment to Clemson. He still is decent and has potential to be great if he toughens up. Right now though, I actually EXPECT Murphy to walk in, immediately get playing time, and outperform Tee.

Regardless, I'm sure he will be one which this board keeps an eye on until he graduates.

Plenty of recruits leave their home state. All you can do is be disappointed but wish them the best. These are kids who being pulled all over the country and taking a big step in their lives.

Are you always this dim?

Clemson went to the CFB Playoffs last year and are going again this year. They are one of the hottest teams in the nation. Maybe stop living under a rock and this won't come as such a shock to you.

And of course you never had a problem with great recruits leaving their home state to play for UT. You do realize that most of our recruits come from other states don't you?
