Upstate SC dwarfs the midlands in beauty (and coast, imo, but I'm a mountain guy). Columbia is the pits.
That being said, their fans have ruined the possibility of me ever liking Clemson. They definitely have a "tallest midget" complex because they won a NC one time, and they're usually better than their in-state, historically-terrible rivals (at least, pre-Spurrier). Yee haw.
Clemson has a nice stadium, but Williams-Brice is a nice enough place, too. They both have good coaches. The ACC is good, but the SEC is the kings of CFB. If I played for SC, that means I get to play in Neyland twice - and hear RT a million times while I throw the game. That's good enough for me. I'm going to Columbia.
