Looks like Philadelphia has decided to make sure they get the most out of their nucleus before they get too old.

Sucks for us Braves fans. Probably the 2 best pitchers in the game in Philly.

Must be nice when your 5th man is Joe Blanton, who was 9-6 last year. ERA was high at 4.82 but he always got run support, crazy how some pitchers get it and some don't.

Good Grief. Can a brother get a salary cap with his table dance.

They played it well, close to the chest. NY was confident that they had Texas beat, and got caught taking a victory lap.

Today is a sad day for Atlanta fans. Oh well, at least Atlanta could catch Joe Blanton every now and then.

And the Phillies said to the Yankees: "No, this is how you buy a championship."

Not sure what the deal looks like but I juust read that Lee may have left $50 million on the table by not signing with the Yankees.

Supposedly, family was a huge factor. Has a kid with cancer, nine yrs old. Wife likes the medical care in Philly.

Braves need to be thinking wild card.
