Climate Change Report

Jeez you ramble worse than I do.

Still, you acknowledge that China is building more hydro, nuclear, etc. than we are, then you go right back to saying they are “doing nothing”. Then you want to scapegoat India?! We still emit more than twice as much as they do, total, and nearly 10x as much per capita. I’m curious, if their per capita emissions never surpass ours, will you still feel they’ve done nothing? And then you move on to blame “my friends" the extreme environmentalists? It sure seems like you just want to blame everyone else and take no responsibility yourself.

And you still haven’t made the connection as to why the Paris Agreement is bad for us. You’ve claimed that we’re meeting our (voluntary!) commitment already anyway. Is the economy in shambles? No? Ok, so what would be the difference if Trump hadn’t announced we will withdraw? The only difference would be that our diplomats in Poland could be negotiating from a position of strength. Now they’re just twitting their thumbs while the rest of the world hashes out the rulebook for implementing the Paris Agreement.

And the demonstrations in France are about much more than a few cents diesel tax, as I’m sure you know. The French support climate action. The takeaway on climate policy, if any, is don’t make your carbon tax regressive.
lolololol.

THIS is a great example of dumbassery science on climate change! 🙄 Parroting this tripe makes it hard to take the narrative seriously.

Thank god they didn’t say pork because asking me to give up my bacon would have gone way too far .

Lol at that temperature model comparison. From the conclusion.

Climate models published since 1973 have generally been quite skillful in projecting future warming. While some were too low and some too high, they all show outcomes reasonably close to what has actually occurred, especially when discrepancies between predicted and actual CO2 concentrations and other climate forcings are taken into account.

Models are far from perfect and will continue to be improved over time. They also show a fairly large range of future warming that cannot easily be narrowed using just the changes in climate that we have observed.

Nevertheless, the close match between projected and observed warming since 1970 suggests that estimates of future warming may prove similarly accurate.

A) they basically admitted a lack of correlation to CO2 levels and temperature change.

B) I’d call the percentage variances large frankly

C) Time constant anybody?! The trend noted in all the graphs was fairly constant! And I’ll bet if you extrapolate it back in time farther that holds true!

True. But the core slowing down is scary.

The earth/universe is going to kill us off one day. Can't stop it without getting off our dead asses and finding an alternative home so I'm not worried about it.

Speculation is that this is the same thing that happened to Mars.

So, I believe you to be correct

the issue with Mars is it doesn't have a dense enough core to maintain a strong magnetic field to protect it from space radiation.

Let’s see how quickly that is buried by the Global Warming folks
Heres my problem with climate change. When you watch the local weather at night they have the record lows and highs for that day. You will see record high being "insert number" and it show the date as 1891.

There was no cars, there was no factories. This tells you that weather moves up and down every so many years.

I'm not going to take one side or the other here, but I do need to point out the illogic in your record high proving anything comment:

Statistically speaking, that record temperature was an outlier. Outliers happen. What you should be concerned with instead are trend lines and averages - data collected over time. Right now, the trend lines are headed up along with the average temperatures. The world, as a whole, is getting hotter. Do with that info what you wish.
