Just turn the power off during the summer.
No problem
Wait
Isn’t that what caused the financial struggle?
They've got a really good damned if you do and damned if you don't thing going. Turn off the power to avoid being sued for starting forest fires and lose money on lost generation, or keep it on and lose in court.
The first part is something that the big renewable power advocates don't see. When a real utility idles plants because the sun's out and the wind's blowing, the utility is losing money on capital costs, labor costs, and fuel costs ... all effects of idled plants that have to be ready to run immediately. That turns to increased power rates. Too many people still don't understand that you can't get something for nothing.
I call bullsh××It’s not us as a planet either. Think about these things as well
The winds of Venus have increased by an estimated 33% and its spin rate is decreasing
Mars has warmed faster than the earth has during the same time period the global warming crowd has been saying we are doomed unless we send them money and stop using petroleum based fuels..
Jupiter: Is emitting strange radio frequencies and the great red spot is fading away while a new red spot is forming at a different latitude.
Saturn every thirty years has a super storm in its northern hemisphere. The storm has shown up just like clock work due to Saturn's orbit...But...this year it has appeared 10 years early..
Uranus is also acting unusual as the brightest storm ever observed has made itself available for out viewing pleasure..
Taxes and carbon credits won’t stop the sun doing what it does.

Parts of British Columbia are enduring record-breaking chill.
Environment Canada says the temperature at Vancouver International Airport dipped to 0.7 C Monday morning.
“That’s the coldest Oct. 10 in 123 years, so this is pretty significant,” said Environment Canada meteorologist Matt MacDonald.
It was the second record in two days for Vancouver, which saw thermometers dip to 0.8 C Wednesday, wiping out the old record of 2.8, which had stood since 1960.

A climate change reporting website that demands transparency from energy companies and pro-market groups is itself a creation of a dark money network of left-wing foundations and donors.
The Sustainable Markets Foundation (SMF) uses what is known as a pass-through entity to fund the investigative reporting outlet Climate Investigations Center (CIC), which is regularly relied upon by outlets including the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times to report on climate issues.
The CIC's reporting includes investigating scientists who have resisted dogmatic interpretations of various climate studies and tracking persons and organizations it perceives as discrediting government or scientific efforts on climate change.
A 2015 report from the New York Times spurred on by documents obtained by CIC homed in on a scientist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics who had argued variation in the sun's energy was a significant contributor to climate changes. CIC tried to tie those conclusions to funding from energy groups, something the scientist denied.

I like our hippies more back in the 60s all they wanted was peace love and happiness .They at least had an excuse to dance and protest like this .. they were high as hell . These people are just dumb .
^Clearly has not looked at lithium mining, fabrication of batteries or "recycling".The 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to John B. Goodenough, M. Stanley Whittingham, and Akira Yoshino for their research in improving battery technology.
The trio will share the prize for their work on "the development of lithium ion batteries," according to the Nobel committee.
"Lithium ion batteries have revolutionized our lives and are used in everything from mobile phones to laptops and electric vehicles," tweeted the committee.
Pretty much anything mined is nasty. The environment said no to mining coal and fracking as well. Too funny, indeed.
