I gathered that the writer was pointing out the fact that Obama can say whatever he wants and it is not scrutinized. What he said can be taken many different ways as illustrated on this message board and yet not one single mainstream media outlet commented on it.

May be a bit of irony in this, the sermon also states a warning: "watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." And the obscure passage in Roman's he mentions, talks of people who knew God but turned against him. Never mix politics and religion, IMHO, can be spun to easily one way or the other.

I'm not sure I ever drink the Kool-Aid, but I was very supportive until I delved into his voting record. Although he still carries my vote at this point, a caution flag is slowly rising up the flagpole.
