I just don't see the difference between a 15-20 year old male having relations with an under 18 year old girl and a man aged 21 or older doing it. If the girl wants to do it why should the man get in trouble.

I'm 37 and married and I WOULD NOT date anyone under about 25 if I were to be single again. But I think it is stupid for a 22 or 23 year old man to be convicted of rape for being with a 16 or 17 year old girl who has been having consensual sex for several years with under age boys. What's the difference?

I'll defend you because my future wife was 18 when we started dating and I was 23. It was okay for us to date then but when I was 22 and and she was 17 it wasn't okay. To a certain extent age doesn't matter but obviously I wouldn't have dated her when she was 14 and I was 19. Although that's how they did it in the old days so...
