I appreciate Butch trying to improve the program. Hes fawked up and has had me wanting him fired several times in the past two years, but nothing I could do about it, except for cry and bich like a little girl. Thats just not me.

I'll continue to hope he gets it done.

The idea that he somehow was waiting all his life to coach the Vols is absurd. He was leaving Cincinnati regardless and was just about to pull the trigger for Colorado before our job came open


If an NFL team offered him a job today, he would be gone tomorrow. The necks don't realize he is here just merely to do a job. I have no problem with it. Its business. But in this business certain expectations are required and it doesn't matter how he makes you tingle, he won't make it finishing 3rd every year in the East

If only this site had Moderators who could remove posts that were obvious troll attempts adding nothing of value to the topic. And even ban those who keep doing the same thing over, and over, and over again, blatantly in disregard of the forum guidelines.

That would be awesome. Freak should look into getting some of those.

It's a Christmas wish if mine that Loyal Vol Fans could take a break from taking potshots at our coaches, our players, our program, and Loyal Vol Fans that show support for our coaches, our players, our program, and other Loyal Vol Fans.

Boycott as gas station if you have to.

Its funny people keep talking about him meeting expectations. Up until now, he might have exceeded the expectations of those signing his fawking 4 million dollar checks.

Regardless, you said he'd had you upset enough to want him fired several times. It appears now you don't. Therein lies the inconsistency. It's not wrong, just not consistent.

I'm not sure Hart had many expectations, other than a fresh tracksuit every season. He'd had one foot out the door for a while.

Me wanting him fired were short lived emotions that werent meant and never expressed here. Surely you understand that.

I'm not sure either. I don't really have a clue, but Butch not meeting MY expectations don't mean isht.

Not all of us, as you are aware, are so forgiving. But I don't hold ill will toward anyone that doesn't agree with my position....most especially you. I only clarified that because you seem to have mistook my meaning a time or two in this thread.

I agree with all that.

He should have taken the job. It was a substantially better job than the one he had. Its part of the reason why he brought a decent team here and got rolled by an inferior coach.

He was given plenty of grace for the wreck left and plenty of money and resources to right it, if he was able. He's better than Dooley.
