Not saying he'll fail. Saying Hart blows for defaulting to a guy who's not a clear cut strong recruiter.

His recruiting classes were higher ranked than Kelly's, yes Kelly did have a 12-0 BCS season but his other two yrs was exactly like CBJ last two yrs.......if your go back to CMU, CBJ had the beTter single season record between he and Brian Kelly at 11-2. You can choose whatever stat you wish to try and prove a point but the man can coach and I feel he will get it done here. This is not a Dooley hire.

I agree whole heartedly with bigpoppavol. You guys keep saying that he isnt bringing his players with him, but aren't the players he recruited, playing this game vs 6-6 duke? The same duke that hasn't been to a bowl game in 18 years...

Regardless of what anyone wants to talk about or the excuses or reasons made from both sides of pro butch or not on the butch bandwagon, the one plain, simple fact is that he was plan "E," like it or not. To me and most others, it's quite bothersome.

Why does it matter Cincy is battling Duke? Their whole coaching staff is at UT and then Duke quite possibly had one of their best football seasons in school history. You might wont to pin this battle on CBJ but it's still a Big East talented team against a "good" ACC team. It's not like Coach Jones came from Oregon, LSU or some already built power house. Let him try and rebuild UT and quit finding reasons to count him out.

What idiot thinks this game is a reflection of recruiting? Haven't the last several seasons shown us that coaching makes a damn impact more than anything?

Did Urban recruit consistent blue chip talent to Utah? Does Peterson to Boise? Patterson to TCU?

How is the talent that a coach recruits to an inferior school in a sub-par conference proof that they can't recruit to a top-flight SEC program? I'm not saying Jones is a Saban reincarnate on the recruiting trail, but there are multiple variables to consider when judging what a coach can do.
