Will you all quit it? Kellie Harper is not going anywhere and will be the Lady Vols Basketball coach next season and for the foreseeable future!

I don't know why the Wikipedia list of CPHS COACHING TREE does not include Alex I think she would be a serious contender4

What does Wikipedia's failure to include Alex Fuller's name in the list of current coaches with Lady Vol ties have to do with Kellie Harper's status as HC?
If you read my posts on the subject you should know I support coach Harper
so to answer your question NO I will not quit posting on this subject.

THE HOLLY FOLLY
The real disaster came when it was clear that Pat was having problems She was formally diagnosed in 2011, but those who were paying attention, Pat was seriously slipping in 2009.
Holly never had the chops to be a head coach. Her speaking ability was awful. Listen to any post game interview and try to make sense of it.. She was basically HC from 2008 forward spending 3 years as Asst HC while Pat was allowed to hold on until 2012..
Pat would have hated knowing what happened to her program at this point. She knew Holly could not replace her.. Holly had interviewed for several HC jobs even top programs like North Carolina. amd they refused to hire her. Nikki Fargas from Oak Ridge was probably the best but she went to UCLA and then LSU - Her LSU problems were exacerbated by the general feeling that she was the Lady Vol coach in waiting when UT got it;s act together and cut Holly loose. Jolly Harper was a down the list choice after her failure at NC State. but the problems at UT are not of her making. Had Kellie come to UT for the 2012 -13 season she would have been at least as good a Holly as far as record went - so would Nikki
By 2019 it was too late The program had already sunk to depths from which it will be difficult to recover. Kellie may be the best choice to continue. She is still in the SEC Tourney and it will be interesting to see how they deal with USC tomorrow in the 3rd try.
Our NCAA seeding and performance will be another indicator. KARA or NIKKI might be an improvement but there is no sure thing out there after the Holly Folly.

So far watching every game of this SEC tourney, aside from Dawn Staley, I do not see a replacement for Kellie
Auburn was terrible. Fla and Ol Miss are not bad
Tasha Butts passed away.

There are too many variables (e.g. Who is going to replace KJH ?) for me to vote on this topic. In her favor is the way the team has played against Kentucky (The second half anyway) and Alabama. I'm going to wait to see how the team does in the SEC final and then the NCAA. However, presently, I'm leaning toward keeping her as HC.
Lisa Fortier of Gonzaga is a good candidate to replace Kellie. She is 42 years old with an over .800 w-l record in 9 seasons. Kellie is a good coach but she cannot compete with Staley and Mulkey and in the future, Schaefer.

IMG_9789.jpegYeah shes soooo fired guysss.. it’s so over.. again whether u like her or not she has brought us consistency at the top (even tho not the highest peaks…. Yet)

A 4 year drought from the SEC semis is so bad

Lmaooooo can’t wait for the cope

For the love of God and all that’s holy, can we please think about waiting until this team’s season is over before we obsess over who Harper’s replacement could/should be? This constant belittling AT THIS CRUCIAL POINT IN THE SEASON, is beyond inappropriate, and downright ugly.

Let the team take their shot. And if they fall flat on their faces and embarrass or upset or do whatever it is that triggers you, do it then. There’ll be plenty of time to get your rocks off putting people down and campaigning for a family to lose their livelihood. But the postseason is the time for Lady Vol fans to rah-rah loudly and often, and hope for the best. Come on, people. Do better.

I think that I explained how I actually made money on the Vandy season tickets...no 'privilege' involved.
Understand but you might as well drop it. You’ve got a case of the “grievances” going on now. Easier to whine than understand.

Just take notes and remember who isn’t allowed to celebrate our success…

We all can wallow in the doom of it occurs but some here were never on the ship

100% and this thread is not aging all that well after the Bama blow out.

Sorry, but when you throw this statement - "I think she would be a serious contender" in this thread you make it sound like she should be a contender for Kellie's job...

put up GogZaga Full Five year Schedule vs Tennessee
That record wouldn't look that good.

Our own Jon Gruden Walz, one of the leading candidates to take the reins here and finally straighten this mess out, had a hard go of it at the ACC tourney. Early exit, got kicked out against Notre Dame then put his own team on blast for being a bunch of uncaring, money grubbing slobs. At least he agrees with those of you who think turnovers are willful misbehavior and can be punished out of existence. I can't wait til Lucy sees this:

Haley Van Lith says now ya'll see why I thought even Mulkey was better?

I bet the players all got a good cussing all during the game. So glad we didn't go that route.

Same reason they're all signing with who they do, $$$$.
Really.............how has that worked so far!!
If you are good enuf to get Jack, I believe you would go to a winning program. Plus the ladies are not diff than the men. $$ yes but they want to win and play at the next level....... Aint happin in Kellie World!!!!

Really? Play at the next level ain't happin in Kellie World? Don't tell the 4 straight first round WNBA picks, about to be topped off with a lottery pick. Worked pretty well for them so far!!

Ya'll can slam KJH to the moon and back and will, but in the factual world no one has ever done this, not even Pat.

Jackson will be KJH’s 4th consecutive first round pick in the WNBA so….

I agree Kellie done a good job with Rennie Davis and Rae Burrell getting them to 1st round draft picks.

Even agree to a certain point with Horston.

Rickea Jackson would be a lottery pick if she had stayed at MSU, her talent alone no matter what school she played at she would still be a top 3 pick and you know this as well..

Saying that if Kellie turns Jewel Spear into a top 3-5 draft pick next season I will be front and center giving Kellie her flowers...

As always Go Vols.

it happened while at UT

Conversation was about 1st round draft picks, so you're saying Rickea would've not been a top 3 draft pick at ANY other school?
