Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Pat Fitzgerald, Bobby Petrino and Brett Bielema all in the top 20..... lol really?
Nick Saban would only leave by choice. Given what he's done, he should have tenure.
Jimbo Fisher would only leave by choice. It would take a few bad seasons before FSU considered canning him
Pat Fitzgerald is a Northwestern alum. Unless he leaves for another job or starts going 4-8 regularly, he's basically doing the best anyone could at a school like Northwestern. Even if they replaced him with another coach who had more success, that coach would most likely leave for a better program. He wouldn't have the same loyalty that Fitzgerald has. Northwestern should give Fitz some leeway.
Bobby Petrino is only in his first season and is 2-1. Why would they fire him?
Brett Bielema is only in his second season and is 2-1. He had a poor season last year but he's a proven coach that will get more time than two seasons barring like a 4 win season. He could go 6-6 and I seriously doubt they would fire him in his second season for that.
Even Bo Pelini being in the top 20 is pretty bad. I mean, I could see him being fired because he always loses 4 games a season and the fans expect more. But, he also always wins 9-10 games a season.
If Bielema or Pelini get canned, schools in need of a coach would be happy to land either. Pat Fitzgerald too. As far as Saban and Fisher go though, they aren't going anywhere in the near future unless it's to the NFL or retirement.
That list has to be a troll list. Why I even bothered commenting on it is beyond me. Boredom I guess.
