USC gonna need a hell of a hire to fix this. It was the Trojans Homecoming Game.

USC will hire a big name coach who will still underperform.

The Trojans lucked into the Pete Carroll hire. Multiple people turned them down and he was like the 4th or 5th choice.

Kind of like Saban going to Bama after Rich Rod turned them down. Sometimes getting rejected by your top target can be a good thing.

Kalen DeBoer would be a really good hire for USC. But he’s probably not a big enough name for them.

The tough thing for USC as a program is that they have to be really, really, good...like national championship-level good with multiple Heisman candidates, in order to get people interested. If they're just pretty good, there are 500 other things in that city that people find more interesting.

Is herman employed? I dont remember him getting picked as a HC.

Would be an amazing 1/2 year OC somewhere like USC imo. Especially for a defensive guy like aranda.
Analyst for the Bears. Chicago before BB gets excited.

Could be. I’ve heard some others surmise that he would eventually be a candidate for some decent jobs that open up. I’d like to see Ga Tech land a solid coach and be good again.
I think Alex Golesh would be a step up from Geoff Collins for Georgia Tech. Geoff Collins is another example of why you shouldn't hire a head coach off of having one good season(just like Butch Jones at Cincinnati).
