I am not surprised. I think #8 is right for us. Even in a poll that I did, I still had us at 8. Still think USC looks slightly better right now and I had Oklahoma State, Clemson, and Michigan ahead of us.

I'm really hard pressed to rank anyone other than UGA, OSU and Bama ahead of us, but can understand Clemson w/ their cred though I don't think Clemson would want to play us. All the rabid Clemson fans I know realize they are a paper tiger this year.

They have to be basing this on what they think “might” happen vs the schedule………and that’s not how this is supposed to work.

Tennessee has played, and beaten 3 ranked teams, two of which they were on the road…….none of the other top teams have done this.

They destroy a top 25 team in “supposedly” one of the toughest places to play………and Tennessee doesn’t even move.

Ohio State is the only team I'd be worried about Tennessee playing.

Why, the only teams they have beaten with winning records is Toledo Rockets and ND? I am not saying they do not have a good squad but seriously, who have they played, a 3-2 Notre Dame? They beat them 21-10. We beat UF 4-2, LSU 4-2, PITT 4-2, and Ball State 3-3. I think perspective is needed, and OSU may be overrated a little.
