I have no idea . . . and that may be what buys Jim Mora another year.

Arthur Blank is definitely not Bammer stupid enough to fire a guy without a definite idea of who is coming next. Home Depot didn't happen by accident.

19 TD's as a career best. That averages to 1.nothing td passes per game. That is pathetic for a $10 mil contract. Vick is not that great. Exciting. But, not a true solid QB. The fact that he actually is on the verge of playing his first, maybe second complete season w/o being out for the season due to someone breathing on him totally mesmerizes me. This season may not be his fault, but he still sucks compared to the money they pay him. If Vick can get the love for his contributions to the Falcons, so can Casey Clausen for his to UT.

You can get away with throwing for 19 TDs when you run for 1,000 yards.

And I'm not saying he totally sucks. Obviously the guy is talented beyond a lot of people's dreams. His style will never be that successful year to year. And, he is not a franchise player. And under no circumstance is he worth $10 mil a year. Ludicrous.

I think part of the need to run is the fact that the Falcons never draft good lineman, they settle for late round or free agent types and try to make them pass blockers.

They also use a bunch of small linemen in Alex Gibbs' cut blocking scheme that tend to get manhandled in pass protection.

The Titans exercised their 2007 option on Fisher, hopefully followed by an extension.

(on if he’s getting ready to sign a long-term contract)
