Coaching Changes?

I agree that nobody leaves this year. I also agree with an above post that promoting coaches formerly associated with the university is a good idea. This is an opinion and doesn't necessarily apply to this post exactly, but a great motivator and coach that I see and read about alot, is Trooper Taylor. I saw him more than once in person on the VOL WALK and on the sideline, and I really hated to see him leave. I really hate to see him on the sideline of another SEC team. He can fire guys up!! I'm not sure if he is an offensive coordinator in waiting, but if Chaney left I wouldn't be disappointed with him back on our sideline. I think it would take an offer of a position that prominent for him to accept. I love that he chest bumps players and almost gets flagged for coming out on the field to congratulate his players after a good play. You heard it here first he will be a head coach in the next 5 to 10 years.

Georgia fans don't think so.

Logically, anyone wanting to be a head coach in the future would do well to consider staying around for a few years to learn how to rebuild a program. If Dooley and his coaching staff are successful, I could easily see coaches marketing that success for their own advancement.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Dooley has one or two in mind that he wants to replace. A position coach responsible for substitutions would be at risk right now.
