There is a growing buzz out there with Charlie Strong. I am not ready to say anything is done at all. But you are going to start hearing more and more chatter/buzz about Strong because it's starting to run pretty rampent right now.

Nothing has been finalized, and Louisville is expected to do what it can to keep Strong, who guided the Cardinals to a Big East Conference championship and Allstate Sugar Bowl berth this season.

Strong, in his third season at Louisville, knows the SEC well. He was the defensive coordinator at Florida under Urban Meyer when the Gators won national championships in both 2006 and 2008 and was also the defensive coordinator at South Carolina under Lou Holtz.

A family member of mine works in a law firm in knoxville.Johnny Majors came in today. Well to make a long story short she asked who he thought it would be and said that IT WILL BE Charlie Strong.

It is being reported on other boards that Smart had the Auburn job with an offer in hand this morning, but told them no after talking to Bama. He is getting a huge raise again.

The Bama poster said-

Kirby is getting a raise here. $1.6M + equivalent post-season bonuses to Saban.
