At least we had great wins to back it up. Bama's premier non-conference wins were against Lipscomb and Southeastern Louisiana.

If they scheduled tougher teams, they probably would have lost more games.

That was my point. I'd rather take the losses and get better. With a good schedule win a few of them, and you have a shot to get in.

Gregg Marshall is my choice. I like his style of play (up-tempo and press). His players look for a quick outlet off the rebound and run all day long. His record of W/L and championships speak volumes. Anyone that can sell Wichita Kansas to recruits will have a hay-day at one of the great college towns in America. He's a mid-major success story who is ready.

Sure it didn't. UT is never going to "talk" to any of the 10 coaches that are going to turn us down. It will only talk to the one that accepts the job.

Harris is gone and Scotty may follow.
If that isn't a 10 win team I don't know what is.

We will have a hard time winning with that team no matter who the coach is.

With Hamilton pulling the trigger, I don't like our chances.

There's 2 posters, 1 who I know personally so I can definitively say isn't FOS, that are saying Williams would be very interested if we had an opening.

Why not? If Doc retires as soon as speculated than no way he takes over this team. He's not big or proven enough to take over a vetern squad like that. I don't see Frank staying years as an assistant when he can go coach somewhere making a lot more money, especially on the college level. I think he accepted the job because a lot of people were speculating that Doc was going to retire and he was unemployed. He should be a head coach somewhere and I see this happening, even at the college level if another NBA team doesn't offer.
