Coaching/Teaching Career Job

Going for my master's in Higher Education Administration. Tried to break in that field with a job but no luck so far, so I may as well go ahead and get my Master's.

Nope. They want you to have experience, but no one is hiring full time for people to get experience.

It's all about timing. If it's something you want to do, keep networking. It took me 2 years to get an interview through recruiters back in '95. Finally got one in '97.
Medtronic is a different animal too. There are many companies out there and independent positions to be had. You just have to stay after it and get them.

Just my 2 cents, but I told the manager that I was ready to be trained and that my lack of experience meant I would be listening and easy to train, rather than already having experience and set in a pattern of how I did things, which may not match the company line.
