I have always loved camping and decided to go to Panther Creek State Park next month for a few days of cold (or cooler) weather camping.
I've always loved camping in the winter months, anyone else?

I’m at Fall Creek Falls right now. Love it.

We are out in Guntersville State Park and while it’s cold outside, it’s nice a toasty in our camper :)

I prefer cold weather camping. Sit by a fire, drink beer and get in a warm sleeping bag

Chili is simmering in the Dutch Oven over the fire. Should be ready by kickoff!

I love that campground! I was there back in June but everything was pretty much dried up. The falls looked like my pee stream does now in my elder years.

Outside kitchen open and ready for business - check
TV mounted outside and antenna up - check
Charcoal bag open and ready for duty - check
No visible beer cooler and/or beers - fail
My beer cooler is right there with the outside kitchen lol

Cold weather camping in a camper yes, in tents no unless I have my "buddy" safety heater with me. 4 days in 40 degree days and 20 or colder nights was all I could stand.

My oldest son wanted to go with his buddies so I picked up this little buddy. safe for indoor or in a tent, zero carbon monoxide. Runs off of a small bottle of propane or a grill size propane tank. Heats up a tent really well.
