Coleman's move a key in '14

What's crazy is UT was 27th in the nation in pass yards allowed per game. We weren't that bad. The run D was the part that was absolutely abysmal. 100th in the nation. Some of those offenses we faced didn't do us any favors.

No need for a team to pass the ball when they can run at will. Hence the skewed defensive passing yardage stats.

They don't pay me enough to decide where to play him. However, there is a coaching staff that IS paid to work through those decisions. I trust them.

....and they have moved him to Nickel based on all reports and where he played in the Spring. He was no longer playing CB...Sutton and Emmannuel Moseley were the starting cbs in the Spring.

Honestly I'm kind of hoping Coleman has been recruited over. No disrespect to the guy, but he's just Teague part 2. Gives a lot of cushion and gets burned a lot. Misses his share of tackles too.

Teague was recruited to play WR, and he did a decent job his freshman year. He never should have been moved to DB. Likewise I think Coleman will be fine at the nickel.

Treece said Mike Williams is a beast at CB and is one of the fastest players we have. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can contribute this season

I'm not super familiar with the nickel position but if I'm not mistaken they are frequently involved in run support as well. If so I see a lot of potential for Coleman there. He's got decent speed but his best aspect by far is his tackling, which is quite good.
