I ordered a bunch. I found a big bag full of them. It had a letter from the court house in there where my wife's great great grandfather fought for the CSA and was took back into the Union after the war.

I bet you have had fun going through them. Scan them so you don't have to handle the originals

Be diligent in your research and look for signatures. you might find a prominent signature.
