I user a defensive lineman. Cover 3 is solid against the crossing routes if you’re talking about the short ones.

They are usually 10-15 yards. Usually they get ball right around the numbers on the opposite side of the field.

I’d try some cover 3. I’ll be honest, if you’re not rushing the passer you’re toast. Every game I lost this season I couldn’t get to the QB and they had a superstar DE that wrecked me. I played against Penn State and Abdul carter literally obliterated my offensive line I couldn’t do anything haha

There was some games where I felt like it was impossible to get to the QB. I did find that even if you are getting blocked, if you circle around behind the QB, they freak out and scramble sometimes. I got a few sacks that way.

I'm definitely going to invest in getting some dudes on the OL and DL. We are in the transfer portal season right?

I’m rebuilding Michigan state. I have a lot of work to do I have 3 5 stars this class a WR DT and QB but I’m not attracting enough top talent yet. 3 star prestige bc before I got there they went like 5-7. Should get a bump though since I made the playoffs

It can be annoying sometimes. Another thing I am struggling with is covering out routes and crossing routes. They always seem to get open. Doesn't matter if I'm playing against a person or cpu.

Any advice on how to defend those?

I play man with two deep safeties when I know it’s a passing play usually get a lot of picks unless playing someone like bama or Clemson that just dust my cb

Hell I’m just glad I can actually scout players now at odu I didn’t even do that only had 300-400 hours for 35 recruits now I have like 1300 hours
