FSU did not play a top four team and the winning they did was with a Heisman candidate not the current QB whoever it is. FSU claim to fame is beating a team that lost to KY ?

Sure there is. But no one knows until it’s done. Anyone can win on any given game day. Boise State and Appy state seem to do it continually. Only one way to make it more acceptable to most is to do it.

The top 8 is toss up this season. Hell, Bama was ranked 8 until this morning.

Their claim to fame is beating the snot out of LSU when LSU was a top 10 team.

They also went undefeated in a conference with Dabo Sweeney and Mack Brown, as well as a Miami team that wrecked A&M.

Why do you love Bama so much that you’re willing to overlook the inconsistency with the playoff selections?

This whole idea that anyone's opinion of who will win shouldn't be a factor unless comparing 2 otherwise equal teams. The committee moved past this and put opinion over record. I give a flying F*** about FSU but I have always loved the sport. The committee just killed the sport. FSU can lose their Bowl by 35 points and I will still believe they EARNED their final 4 spot. Texas EARNED their spot by beating Bama. Same record both conference Champs so H2H wins. The issue is how did both Texas and Bama jump FSU. FSU beat a higher ranked team to win their conference than Texas did (Fact) and got jumped. Jordan Travis was injured on November 18th and the committee didn't drop the Seminoles then so shame on them for applying this now. If it's part of their ranking system then do it in real time. FSU should be 3 and TX 4. But to get Bama in they moved Texas to 3 from 7 after beating number 18. FSU went from 4 to 5 after beating number 14. That should never make sense and trying to justify doing this is f'n nuts.

Bama needed a 4th and 31 against the Barn in last game of regular season..... So much for the "getting a lot better" throughout the year. And if the defense is that "rivalry games can bring up tight games" is that not exactly what happened to FSU having close win over Florida in the Swamp?

Yes, Flordia State is an undefeated conference champion. But there is no way they are one of the 4 best teams in the nation. Michigan, Washington, Bama, and Georgia would beat the brakes off of Florida State. They have a good defense but their offense is weak and now they are playing with a backup QB. There was no way the SEC Champion was not going to be in the playoffs. JMHO

FSU is a P5 team with Florida on the back of the schedule every year, so I dont think they ever have to apologize for SOS.

Fun idea. Terrible logic. By the end of the season, lesser teams rarely win. Twelve teams will be torture.

That’s the comedy of it all. They are a crazy completion 8 days ago away from being an afterthought. Instead it’s a narrative about how improved they are.

I blame the committee. At the end of the day FSU went undefeated with two wins over SEC schools, including beating LSU by 21 which is better than Bama did.

Why are you acting like FSU did not lose their best player that determined their season. FL win...big deal that's a 4 loss team. FSU has a very good defense but they now have little to no offense now. If they played Iowa right now it would end in a tie 0-0.

Alabama over FSU is embarrassing for the NCAA, way to have no integrity. Also big lol at all the teams that had season high in penalties when playing Alabama this year.....

They did not play a top 5 team. Where did Florida finish? LSU was their toughest game all year and LSU is ranked 13th. SMH The committee went by your theory last year with TCU and we all know how that turned out.

TCU getting beat 63-7 by Georgia in the national championship screwed FSU this year. Alabama vs FSU play on a neutral field tomorrow, Bama would be favored by 10+.

If we want to get real honest about it, top 4 teams in the country right now are Michigan Georgia Texas and Bama. Washington will be exposed.
