I would think Michican has more fans than State. Also, FSU and Miami probably have bigger chunks of Florida than that. As for Tennessee, I'll give you that C and tiny dot somewhere in the middle. But who is this Blue M Schools and black Gold Star school you speak of??? ;)

I'm sure you're just being sarcastic, but are you really alleging that Chattanooga has a bigger following than Vandy?

It's a very interesting map, but the GT portion is really weird. They should have just given GT most of Atlanta and nothing else. I think we all know UGA and several other schools have a share of Atlanta, but giving it to GT would at least make more sense than the current drawing.

I think KU/KSU is inaccurate as well. There are way more Jayhawk fans than there are Wildcat fans in Kansas.

In football though?

I was under the impression the map was supposed to be about "football support/fanbases"...is it supposed to be just about which areas support which schools

Good point. I had it in my head for some reason that it was just school allegiance, not just college football. If that's the case, you are absolutely right. Most Jayhawks fans would rather bulldoze their stadium and turn it into overflow parking for basketball. Hell, my roommate is a born and raised Jayhawks fan and I've got him rooting for the Vols in football, haha.

As far football goes Indiana is pretty much all either Notre Dame,Purdue or Ohio State...probably less than a 1,000 TRUE IU football fans in the state! lol

quite a few in Ohio masquerading as OSU fans, actually

Having lived in Michigan, it's actually pretty close between the Wolverines and Spartans. Michigan has more nationwide fans, but I wouldn't be surprised if State had more in-state fans. Michigan State has like twice the enrollment of Michigan, so they have a surprising amount of fans.

Northern Ohio belongs to Michigan. Toledo to Cleveland. A lot of Michigan fans in Cleveland.
