College Gameday is unwatchable

I think a big problem with GameDay is just the lack of ESPN credibility these days. Even as recently as 10 years ago, what the folks on GameDay, and ESPN as a whole, were saying about your team carried weight. I used to tune in all the time to see what was being said about Tennessee.

I don’t know if it’s due to the budget cuts or the layoffs or what, but they just don’t seem to have a great grasp on 90% of teams out there. Just the Top 5 or so.

If you really want to know what’s going on with your team, ESPN is the last place you should look. You can get way more info, and far more accurate info, on the fan sites.

I'd like to see it cut back to 2 hours. Keep Corso for the last segment and head gear pick. A lot of people may hate this, but I'd like to see Spurrier take Corso's spot during the bulk of the show. Guest pickers are fine, but ****ing Jack Harlow??? No. They need to be real CFB fan tied to the team that is hosting Game Day. Cut down on the talking heads. The new lady that looked like she was out there in a pair of her older brothers pants last Saturday can go. Pollack is annoying to me, cut him out. I like Reece. I like Kirk. Desmond is OK. Add the head ball coach and let's go.

I’ve stuck up for Gameday over the years bc I grew up w/ it and have enjoyed it for a long time. It think it needs to go back to 2 hours, it has so much fluff now that it’s gotten away from what made it so good. Having Jack Harlow blazed out his mind being a celebrity picker and then performing like it’s a Good Morning America segment is a joke. I enjoy the celebrity pickers more times than I don’t . Bill Murray has been really good, believe it or not Ashton Kutcher was good, there have been plenty of good pickers that actually care, but they need not to turn it into a platform for actors or musicians to plug a new album or movie that premieres the next week.
