College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

And in other news…..Penny Hardaway arrogantly exclaiming Memphis is best team in AAC now that they are healthy. Maybe the most talented, but they’ve got a ways to go before claiming the best team. I’m sure Houston and SMU will be using that as some great bulletin board material.

I’m pretty torn. I would like to see them win today, because Houston losing a few more games helps us. But, Penny doesn’t need anymore of an ego boost and I don’t want Memphis making the tournament.

Yeah, I’m just not a fan of Memphis at all, and Hardaway just makes them unbearable to me. I honestly like the way Houston plays basketball. IMO, they maximize their talent as well as any team in the country.

Well they’ve got their chance today to prove it, they play Houston.

Alabama has shot nothing but threes to start the game against Arkansas. They don’t even try to work it in the paint or set screens for pick and rolls or work any designed set plays. It’s a really ugly looking offense.

Alabama gets the win 68-67 which gives Tennessee a chance to grab sole possession of third place in the conference with a victory tonight.

Sort of like being the tallest midget in the midget parade. It’s a two bid league at best. Who cares.

That is what is wrong with college basketball. Guys should have freedom in open court and let that contact go.

Edit: sorry, wrong thread but still stands.
