College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Yes, you just may be looking at needing 16 to take the conference when they eek out those. Underdogs and came from behind. They’re pretty damn strong.

I highly doubt the conference champion is going 16-2 this year. There isn’t a team on the same level as 2022-2023 Alabama or 2021-2022 Auburn. I would guess 14-4 wins the league.

Arkansas playing some very undisciplined basketball and also looks like slaw. Kind of shocked with how much talent they have how much they’ve struggled this year.

Kentucky is near that level and only going to get better. They have the best guard play in the country.

No, they are not. Teams at that level do not lose at home to North Carolina - Wilmington
When they have a team full of freshmen, yes they can have games like that - especially early in the season.

Have you not watched Sheppard, Dillingham, etc?

You're right. Their super stars are guards.

They don’t have “super stars”. They have a bunch of really good players, and they might win the conference, but they aren’t going 16-2. They just aren’t. They don’t have that one guy like Smith or Miller who you just give the ball to and get out of his way. You need that to go 16-2 in a league as tough as the SEC. Kentucky doesn’t have that yet.

Their last team that even close to that level was the DeAaron fox team who got bounced by North Carolina in the Elite 8.
I watched that game in jail (long story, all charges dropped because I was innocent). That was the only time in 35 days that I forgot I was in jail, felt more like a sports bar, everybody (15+ guys) watching was loving it. Great finish and great game.

They literally have 3 guys that can do this. Dillingham is a lottery pick now.
