College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

He is so long he's always open. That's why the NBA stock piles these European Bigs that can shoot.
I mean yeah if ZZ or Vescovi end up on him he could still get a decent look. He shot had a low release and wasn’t that quick from what I remember though.

The way I look at it is that Kentucky can only put 5 guys on the floor at a time. Yes they have 9-10 guys that can come in and produce for them effectively. But they can’t all play at the same time. Now it does add to their depth and they’re able to be a little more rested as they rotate guys in and out. But there’s only 5 guys on the floor that we have to guard. And I believe our defense is up to the challenge and able to guard any rotation in the country.

They can talk about all these players Kentucky has but that team will only go as far as Reeves takes them. They see all these shiny and flashy guys but they’re all young. When the going gets tough, they will have to have Reeves. Take him out of the game and force the younger guys to produce all game and they’ll eventually crumble. This ain’t John Wall and Demarcus Cousins we’re watching.

I can’t believe we lost to Kansas. Two minutes to go and they’re only up by 7

Their opponent UC is not lighting up the score board

No bench points for Kansas

Anyone notice the Central Florida loss to Houston on Saturday? How's this for futility:

The Knights made 7 baskets the entire 40 minute game. Yeah, they were 7 of 44 from the field, shooting at a 16% clip. They were 4 of 21 from three. So they made 3 two pt shots the entire game. And we thought we've had to stomach dry spells from our Vols...

They did beat Kansas two weeks ago 65-60

I think Houston has the #1 defense. At least they did a week or so ago.

They are #1 by a wide margin according to KenPom.

Rk. Team. AdjD.
1. Houston 85.6 😳
2. Tennessee 91.5
3. Iowa State 92.9
4. N. Carolina 92.9
5. Arizona 93.8
6. Auburn 94.4
7. UCF 94.8
8. Creighton 94.8
9. Rutgers 94.9
10. Saint Mary's 94.9

See if I got this right. Kentucky has .4 left on the shot clock on the inbounds. Reeves airmails it, then they have enough time to grab the rebound and score.

South Carolina has .5 left on the shot clock on an out of bounds play. Johnson catches it and knocks down a 3 pointer. They decide to check the clock and wipe off the basket?
