College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Noticed in that UK and FL game both love to overplay the pass. That’s why there were so many back cuts for layups. I hope UT is ready for that Tues. And man I’m looking forward to the ZZ vs Clayton matchup
The guards for Florida are very good. Tennessee can't give them open looks and Ziegler needs to stay out of foul trouble for the Vols to have a chance down there.

I think you’re being a bit too harsh on both teams. Both teams look like upper crust SEC teams today. If Florida shoots like they did today against Tennessee this week, we’ll lose by 10 on the road. They have a great offense. Same with Kentucky
Maybe, but Kentucky isn't a great Defensive team and when they turned up their D Flordia really struggled. If we play the Defense we are known for and I really like our chances against them. Even at Flordia.

Dear lord, Auburn is insane.
Auburn will lose their minds if they encounter a hot shooting team that plays tenacious defense. They’re dancing around having a big time at home when the 3 pointers are falling. Want to see them against a tough strong team before I anoint them special. JMO

Auburn's weakness is their lack of discipline in some of the shots they throw up. Seems there is always a KD Johnson type player on their team that thinks he is a better shooter than he actually is. Worst outcome is he makes one then he thinks he can make them all! They aren't perfect by any means and will lose some games in the SEC just like everyone else.

Florida will not get 100 points on Tuesday night against the Tennessee smothering DEFENSE.

Random thought, are the broadcast microphones in TBA just put in extremely weird places? I’m watching the Alabama game right now, and that place sounds deafening on TV and it’s pretty well documented that Coleman isn’t THAT loud of an environment.

Today’s game against Arkansas sounded like church league basketball at times on TV, but Calipari commented in the post game presser about how good our crowd was so I’m curious if the mic placement is just not doing TBA justice these past few years.

Good point. I never think TBA is loud from watching TV.

Somebody posted somewhere in the BBF, that 10 teams could win the league. I say 3, Tennessee, Bama and Auburn. Kentucky and Florida are a step below, imo. None of the other teams can win it, although I always like Buzz's Aggies, but they are in the third tier with Oklahoma, Arkansas and the Mississippi schools, once again, imo.

Have you watched more than 5 minutes of Auburn this season? They’ve beaten Houston, Iowa State, North Carolina, Memphis, Ohio State, and Purdue on neutral floors with an average margin of victory of 15 pts. Their only loss is by 6 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. They’re #1 in KenPom, #1 in the NET Rankings, and #1 in the BPI. They and the Vols are the two best teams in the country thus far.

But they aren’t special? Give me a freakin’ break.

Nothing special about auburn . They have not played team going play defense like Vols will . Don’t say Houston did . Houston is way over rated big time this season
