Throw was too hard and too low from too close so it was hard to pick up. You have to hit the guy in the chest from there. 3rd baseman should have fielded the bunt and taken the out at first.

What a game. Travis Haney said it best. UF won that game two or three times, but SC just found a way.

That's the way I felt when we went to extra innings. It was going to hurt whoever lost. I could handle getting my arse kicked much easier than I could battling and losing in extra innings. Should be another great game tomorrow night.

He's pretty solid. He would only have been available for an inning or two. All we had behind him in the bullpen were Jose Mata and Steven Neff, who had not pitched in forever. I hope Roth can go the distance tonight, because we don't have much behind him in the bullpen. If UF can get to him early, things could spiral out of control for us very fast.

Congrats to South Carolina on a gutsy, gutsy win.

Being a Florida fan, pretty much used to watching my team (in any sport) squander opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. UF had several solid chances to win, including being thrown out at home for the win, what, two or three times in the last couple innings?

Got to think it will be tough for the Gators to bounce back from letting one get away like that.

One of the best games I've seen in a long time. Cocks tying it up in the 8th and then playing amazing D in the 9th and 10th. You couldn't have scripted a more intense finish.
