Colorado beats TCU by 3 and everyone is going nuts

A TCU team that lost to Ga last year 65 to 0 .Are you kidding me! Geez
I don't think you realize what Deion has done. He flipped his ENTIRE roster in one off season and went out and beat the #17 team in the country who played for the national championship last year! Thats never happened before! Now, is TCU overrated? Probably. However that doesn't diminish what DS has managed to pull off. They had 500 yards passing yesterday and I think they had 5 wide receivers with 100 receiving yards!

Some of you will refuse to give “Coach Prime” any credit no matter what he does. This is a team that won one game last year beating a team that was Big XII runner up and beat Michigan in the playoff. That’s impressive no matter how you spin it.
Last year on TCU. We'll have to wait to see how impressive. Maybe not so much. That being said, Deion will get Colorado back. He's a damn good coach and can identify talent

Preseason 17. TCU won't be that high again the rest of the year. I do agree with you about Deion, but because he flipped the roster over and is in a major rebuild, they'll get pounded by some teams this year

If he keeps going this way he may not be at Colorado long enough to truly get them back. He'll wind up at Florida State or some other big time program.

Gotta give him credit. He literally flipped his entire roster and if that weren't pressure enough, he installed his son as the starting QB. Deon certainly didn't take the safe route. Guy went thermonuclear and has a huge win to start the season. I tip my cap to him. Respect.

Preseason or not, TCU is a VERY good program and has been for a while. That was a quality win. It's not like they played Tennessee Tech.

Yeah, but pretty much any TCU team would have absolutely smashed any CU team from the last (not sure the right number but it’s a really long time) years. I think there’s a floor on how bad TCU could be and it’s a lot higher than the ceiling I expected for CU so it’s a great win for them.

NFL. Someone will give him a shot. He might not be ready for that, but some team will come calling.

He ends up coaching in Dallas or Atlanta in a few years

He wouldn’t last long as Dallas HC. He’s tell Jerry where to shove his ego…lol

It's destiny that he ends up coaching Dallas
I could be wrong but I don't think his path will be Colorado to the NFL. I think there's another college program in between that and if Norvell doesn't produce at FSU, they'll run his ass out on a rail to get Deion back in Tallahassee (provided Colorado continues this success).

I agree. He probably needs to stay at the college level for more years, but I think some NFL team will still throw the bank at him sooner than later.

I also can't imagine Sanders enjoying the recruiting process that much.

It’s what makes college football the most awesome sport on the planet. Flips an entire roster, gets those kids listening to and believing in him…and then goes on the road to beat a very good TCU program. He’s a competitor and has been successful at every stop in his sports career. Give the man some due credit.

Bernie, Colorado is basically an FCS school until further notice. That’s how bad they’ve been. It doesn’t matter how overrated TCU is; this is like Appy State beating TAMU last year.
