Colorado beats TCU by 3 and everyone is going nuts

Colorado won 1 game last year. No different than when we finally beat Bama. The hatred for Coach Prime seems a little suspect.
It's very different. Colorado won a game one year ago. We had last beaten Bama sixteen years before the game last year. Sixteen is not one. Good for Colorado but it's not a huge deal.

Deion isn't my cup of tea, but I can't deny what he is doing is impressive, I didn't think he would be successful as a HC and he may not be, but yesterday was a big deal. Not on par with us beating Bama after 16 years imo, but every situation deserves proper context. The TCU team of yesterday isn't the same team that was great most of last year, but Colorado beating any power 5 team in the first game after the massive overhaul is quite noteworthy. Colorado has been a pretty tough job and was a dumpster fire when Deion got there. Again, lots of ball left to play, so not sure Deion should be starting his "told you so " tour just yet, though he has, because that's kind of who he is. The dude got coveted players to come to Jackson State, then Colorado, and won a game over a team that was just in the title game. Time will tell, but it's a great start for him.
I do think it's funny that Corso is so critical of him, considering hos own lack of success as a head coach. If Corso is saying "that's not how I did it/would do it", then you're on the right track.

It’s not like Prime didn’t bring in pretty much a new team and IMO TCU was overrated and was lucky last season
Now if he went in there and beat one the top tier teams. I could see all the talk. Let’s see what they do the coming weeks but good for them on their game 1 win. Neither team has a defense

As someone who started watching football in the early 90s nice to see Colorado Football do well. Hope Coach Prime can throw a wrench into the pac-12 having an undefeated team this year.
If he beats another first year coach this upcoming week when they play Nebraska the Cornhusker faithful are going to have another reminder how much their program has fallen.

He has done a great job turning that program around, brought it attention and now a W.

Shedeur looked like an absolute threat and the best QB who played yesterday.

Leave it to the media to turn it into a race baiting **** show.

The critique came from replacing 86 players…… and trashing them a little on their way out, apparently some just quit.

Time will tell hopefully they do well and compete!!

He has won "ONE" game at this point. They have real tests later in September against Oregon and USC. CU wins those then yes say the "turning the program around". He loses, well not yet.

Some of you will refuse to give “Coach Prime” any credit no matter what he does. This is a team that won one game last year beating a team that was Big XII runner up and beat Michigan in the playoff. That’s impressive no matter how you spin it.
This is truth. Watching everyone rush to crap on Colorado is laughable. They were historically bad last year. Obviously Deion can coach. People want to make up reasons to put them down.

They get Oregon on the road and USC at home in back to back weeks.

We will know how good of a team they really are after that.

So in order to turn a program around he must be beat the best in his conference……..so then our program isn’t turned around since we didn’t beat GA??

Colorado is better off this year than they were last…… that’s turning one around.
