Colorado hires Marshall Faulk as RB coach

Marshall Faulk was a beast! He didn’t really have anything that wowed you right off the screen, I mean don’t get me wrong he was really good at just about everything , but the thing that I think separated Faulk from the rest was his conditioning. He hit the hole at the same speed for 4 quarters. His acceleration never let up. Fun to watch

The guy was arguably the best pass catching running back in NFL history. Just legendary blend of speed, hands and durability.

Ah. I thought he meant where Faulk played college ball. He was an amazing college player. I loved watching him play when I got the chance.
One of those talents that merits watching their career highlights in awe…like Bo Jackson. Grew up hating Larry Bird, but I lived long enough to see how capable I am of misguided ignorance.

Big move for Colorado.
I imagine Marshall Faulk can just be himself and be a very successful recruiter.
The AD may be thinking him to be a possibility as the next head coach.

If it makes you feel any better I did the same thing with Kobe. Hated him, I didn’t get an appreciation for him until he passed unfortunately

Similar story. I took Shaq’s side when Kobe blew that partnership up. Was blind to his drive to be the best and intolerance for those who let themselves go and waste natural gifts.

Edit: the fun fact below is factually inaccurate and no longer fun...

Fun fact, in his career he had 767 receptions for 6,875 yards and zero receiving TDs.
Zero TDs is wild.

You're right. What the heck was I looking at..
Haha. You’re good. I normally wouldn’t look something like that up, but I thought there was no way Peyton Manning or Kurt Warner would allow that to happen the further his career went along. He is definitely one of the best to ever do it.
