Yeah even though I am a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force the Blue Angels really do take the cake. I get to see them both every other year at the Secretary of Defense&#39;s air show at Andrews Air Force Base which is May 21-22 if anyone happens to be in the area. Hey its free and a good show because you get to see all the services in action.

My family is definitley an Air Force one. Every guy to serve in the last three generations went to the force. I currently have a cousin in Ogden, and my grandma is a civilian employee at Wright-Patterson.

Anyways, I live out in Hillsboro Oregon, about a mile and a half from the Hillsboro Airport, where the Oregon International Airshow is. I believe it is one of the bigger ones west of the Mississippi. We get the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds alternating every year. I also visit my grandparents in Ohio and get to see the Dayton Air Show most years, which is friggin&#39; huge.

I&#39;ve been to the Andrews show and I got to see a number of others during my days in the USAF.
