Commonwealth Upgrades

Without the upgrades, Neyland is the same.

I've been going to Commonwealth since the 70's. Most of my family is from the Lexington area. It has always had a cold, stale, institutional feeling.

The same cannot be said of Neyland. Even when it was in it's worst condition, during the late 80's, Neyland always felt like hallowed ground.....historic. New bricks, paint, and some statues wont change that.

Neyland was special before the upgrades in a way Commonwealth will never be afterward.

Thus....lipstick on a pig.

Tyler can watch replays of all his TD passes, Poole can watch himself score as he crosses the goal line, Hunter and Rogers can watch themselves score, and we get to see it all again on some of the largest screens in college FB. Thanks UK!

Commonwealth may have an institutional feeling, but I guess I'll feel the same way about that deer stand with window air conditioning units hanging out the side.

Maybe they can show the kittys tearing down the goalpost while LSU is scoring at the other end of the field to win the game

Serious question here... Does tn have a better all-time winning % in commonwealth than ky?

What does Sarah Palin have to do with this?

Would "polishing a turd" seem less political?

I'm agreeable either way. But I was trying to spare Brian McCats feelings.
