Comparing these teams off of such a small sample size, which is not even really comparable as between the teams played, is utterly ridiculous.

wearing jean shorts and mandals is likewise.

as well as worshipping the lisp having teblow.

I want to state for the record that I think the Vols can compete.

But don't try to dismiss Oklahoma and diminish them in some manner. Oklahoma is one of the best football teams in the country with a ridiculous home record under Bob Stoops.

It is a major, major challenge.

Don't try to kid yourselves.

thank Jesus we have your breakdown. this was gonna be a hard fought win up until i read your in depth analysis.

FWIW I'm pretty sure Oklahoma has played more backups than we have trough the first two weeks. We haven't had that much of a luxury because we have so much inexperience.

Here's a comparison for ya, despite the past five years, Tennessee is still the winningest football program from 1950 forward . 606-361- 53 all-time, including the victory over a-state. Proof positive the Vols have a winning tradition.

heres to a hard fought game between 2 great programs. hope everyone coming to the game has a good time in oklahoma. tailgaiting is pretty good in norman.

ou has a pretty good record since 1950 too

ou is since 1950 360-94-4 78%

Number of wins don't add up...

The Tennessee Volunteers football ... with their combined record of 805-361-53 ranking them tenth on the list of all-time won-lost records …

Plus one game.

I'm having Oregon week flashbacks

Who ever like this post should seriously be made to run through a corn field backwards, as for you ! Get off your stick Florida sucks ! This game will be nothing like Oregon.

Did Tennessee play their backups in the second half? I really don't know. Stats on a computer don't tell the story of a game. In the second half of the OU game, I saw and heard so many last names I hadn't been aware of since the spring game, it was hard finding a player I recognized.

21 True freshmen played opening week. Most ever! We lack depth and experience. No need for "back ups" in our case.

That should be 806 all time, not 606

Tennessee is averaging 3.31 yards per rushing attempt.

Oklahoma is averaging 6.25 yards per rushing attempt.

And did you watch the video of Tulsa's defense? I could have run for 100 yards against it...sort of like E. Mich ...Gator...

Oklahoma has a better team this year, no doubt. The better team doesn't always win, but it usually does.

I don't expect us to win but I hope to see a competitive game rather than a blowout.
