Strong recruiting them is irrelevant. He would be a MAJOR part of the reason they come to UF. He's one of the top 2 or 3 DCs in the country. If he leaves, I don't see how it wouldn't hurt UFs chances of landing them. I know what would happen to some of our defensive prospects if Monte left...
Perhaps, I don't know for sure though. It may affect their decisions, but I'm more inclined to believe it wouldn't due to the head coach being the most vital piece in the recruiting process. For example, Pettey out west has lost a ton of coordinators to head coaching jobs, it hasn't ever affected recruiting much though.
