This is must watch UVa failure. Of course they went on to lose in OT, but they desperately wanted to give this one away in regulation. This clip doesn't even show all of the calamities. After Miami tied it at 53 and they missed the free throw, two guys from UVa were wrestling for the ball and they kicked it out of bounds on the side, giving Miami 11+ seconds to attempt to win the game, not including the final half-court heave after the steal with 1 second left.
They won at home against a Kentucky team that went 2-8 on the road and beat a .500 conference record Tennessee team on the road playing without their best scorer in OT, I won't even mention our 10-8 home record. They've literally done nothing else but beat up on the trash that makes up the SEC West. If anything all talk should've ceased after the beat down they received at Florida last week.
Oh, and Bama's 83 RPI would be the highest to make it in as an at-large in the history of the NCAA Tournament. 74 RPI by the 98-99 New Mexico squad is the highest ever. Highest since then is 63 and 65 in 2005, I think.
Serviceable? More like damn near a miracle worker. I thought this team really might not win a conference game this season. The talent level is so incredibly low.
