Cuonzo dialing up the in-bounds to go to Golden was a horrible call.
The last call wasn't questionable imo. That was an offensive flop. Good job to the ref on that one for doing his job.
It was obvious Cuonzo's complaining influenced the calls in this game. Tennessee got beat today. Scoreboard doesn't say it, but no way anyone with basketball knowledge leaves this game with a great deal of confidence.
You must've missed the Houston, O'Neill and Buzz years.[/QUOTU
Ok I retract that. I was a student at UT during the O'neill years. Nothing like getting pounded on your home court with half the crowd wearing blue, or losing by 60 at Rupp. It was some of the worst bball I've watched in the past decade including Buzz.
I still think the number of wins to make the tournament is 20. Looking at the schedule it seems very difficult.
Looking at the more favorable schedules of KY and Bama , we would probably have to go undefeated from here to get in.I agree with that number. And it means that, not counting the SEC tournament, we can only afford to lose two more games. Well, we play Florida twice, Mizzou once (at home), and go to Arkansas, USCe, Vandy, A&M, Georgia, and Auburn.
I simply don't see it. We won't sweep those road games. And even if we can beat Mizzou and Florida (once), do I trust that we'd win all but one of the road games? Again, no.
So I'm trying not to think tournament. But it's really hard to enjoy college basketball when your team isn't in the tournament picture.
Edit: Oops. We only play Florida once, and it's at home. So that's an almost sure loss off the board. There is a sliver of hope... :good!:

We have 4 losses. Ky will likely finish 13-5 and Bama 14-4. - barring upsets.

Believe I was talking wins and losses in the SEC.
They each have 2. We already have 4.
KY has Ole Miss and FL twice.
Bama has Ole Miss and FL to play.
Like I said. Barring upsets.Kentucky lost at home to A&M, and Bama lost at home to Mercer and Tulane. So suggesting that both are gonna take care of business the rest of the way seems a bit unlikely. Kentucky also has to go play @A&M in a week, the same team they lost to at Rupp. I see both UK and Bama ending the season with probably atleast 6 SEC losses.
So hypothetically, let's say Bama and UK go 12-6, and Tennessee goes 11-7.
UK is 21-10 (12-6)
Bama is 20-11 (12-6)
Tenn is 19-11 (11-7)
UT would likely have the best resume out of that group.
Like I said. Barring upsets.
Fair enough, but both teams have been getting "upset" all year, not sure I'd bank on it ending now. Bama definitely has the more favorable schedule, UKs is pretty rough. A loss tomorrow night at Ole Miss and I'd have to think there may be some puckering going on in Lexington.
