Hey Big Papa, quit watching the games then you pompous jerk! You really think that you have any clue what motivates any other human, just because you don't like the way he shows emotion? Prince has stepped it up tremendously. Why do you think you can tell what he is thinking? Because when you played no one ever showed emotion? He gets fired up after dunks and his very rare 3's. So what. You assume that it is to glorify himself. But you assume. Everyday you are sufring the net, between porn and desk chair critique of ahtletics, those guys are busting their butts to get better for UT.
If you don't like Prince, then I am sure Bama or someone else could use your insightt.
well done. This genius laden pile of drivel put me in my place and made your point much better.

Now, remind me of the championship level team you last remember acting like a bunch of idiots after dunks, layups and 3s. I don't give a swamp rat's ass what he's thinking, ever, unless it's something about his next job on the basketball court. When it goes there, it time to ride the pine.

And he was not taunting, which was my original point. He was looking right at our bench, which had just exploded at his 3 pointer.
the freaking hot dog has done nothing but taunt his entire career. Nothing changed tonight.

Maybe you should do a bit of asking around about why in the hell he's no longer rooted to the bench in AZ.

Also, saying attitude has killed this team is a weak crutch. If you say it is attitude, then you can justify being pissed at the playyers and calling them out online. If you face up to the fact that we really have no shooters, lost our top 4 guards, and have 5 guys on the team who had never played together before, then you can't be outraged on your favorite message board.
was there supposed to be at least a small part of this that made sense?

I've been one of the biggest haters of Prince throughout the year because of his stupid mistakes (ie., pushing the guy down vs. Auburn).

He's clearly a gifted athlete, and i've never denied that. In fact, I think he could be an NBA player if lock down defense and shooting were parts of his game in the slightest.

He likes the spotlight too much. I understand that some guys perform better when they're being "watched" by everyone, but in his case he just seems obsessed with getting the "Sportscenter" moment -- whether we win or lose.

That's what I mainly don't like about him. He's come a long way, i'll give him that.

Well, I certainly do not have 28 thousand posts on a message board to back me up.
But wether I agree or not, we were talking about the play Knight was talking about. Prince was not taunting. I really don't care what your opinion of his career is or why you think he left Arizona. What certainly has been proven since he left is that Lute Olson was a classless ass, regardless of whatever may have happened with Prince (see the O'Neil situation). But what is quite obvious is that you think you know what is in a person herat and mind from your lofty poach as a 28k message board poster and former mediocre athelete. Congratualations. Now please take your hate of UT players to a Bama or LSU board. I can't help but think you might long for a long pasted day when an uppity fellow like Prince could be put in his place.:good!:

are you going to say something that makes sense to support your argument that Prince isn't a hotdog, or just throw up these worthless, disjointed walls of text full of nothing but idiocy and let people assume for you?

I might well be a former mediocre athlete, but I know a hotdog when I see one and I know how few of them ever become winners. Any that ever learn to win, find a coach that bludgeons the stupidity out of them so they remained focus and play basketball.

Quit arguing the point you want to make as oppossed to the one being discussed.
I said 1) That you have no freaking clue what motivates Prince.
and 2) He was not taunting when Knight called him out.

28,000 posts? Seriously?

All I have to go on is how the guy acts on the court and what he does in practice and what other players and coaches have said about him. That tells me what he's about on the court. His play only serves to prove all of that out. Split hairs about that play, but you're not going to find any support for your senseless crusade about that play. Knight was busting a kid's chops for playing as an individual in a team game. It's that simple. Further, how on earth do you know I'm wrong? Tell me one thing in Prince's entire basketball history that will make me believe you have one iota of an idea about what you're talking about. I mean one little bitty shred of and idea to validate this stupid technical point you're making.

He taunts as a matter of course, so Knight was clearly pointing out a trend. Prince has the focus of a blind wildebeest, so Knight was certainly onto something.

WTF difference does it make how many posts I have? That does nothing to bolster your ridiculous argument. I could make a similar joke about your English and IQ, which even pertains to the silly argument you're making, but let's just leave the extraneous crap out of this. By the by, speaking of extraneous stupidity, I was well aware of the veiled hint at racism and left it alone. Not only are you dead wrong, you look like a complete idiot for even mentioning. I'd suggest you stop digging and stick to your stupid argument about JP not taunting.

Damn, BPV, didn't your mother ever teach you that if you argue with a moron then that makes you one too? :ermm:

So you know Prince? That is what you are saying is that the info you have gathered in your career as an internet expert, you know Prince? You can make a judgement on him as a human, what motivates him? You are sure that he cares more about himself then winning because you and some other internet hero agreed at 4 am? And please don't tell me Knight was indicting Prince's whole attitude with that statement. He was commenting on that one instance, but I know it fits your arguement better to just make crap up.

Now while I certainly don't type as well as a man with 28,000 posts on a sports message board, please don't get in over you head with calling out my intelligence.
You have made your point. You are the kind of genius that can spot a person's soul from across the room and you alos come from the old school where people new their place and didn't show emotion.
By the way, I bet you earn your living from the same seat your in right now don't you? Internet sales of diet plans or magic tomato plants is my guess. But man, when the coach called your number from the bench, I bet you sure could throw a screen or pass to the shooter.

you stupid f&*k. I'm not old and I don't have a job. Do you have something relevant to support your senseless argument or not? If not, I certainly understand. If so, you're stupider than I thought.

What is it with the post count envy? You like 14 or something.

I have no idea what World of Warcraft is. If it's a video game, I'm gonna struggle, as I haven't played one in about 10 years.

Now back to the argument, or your proving your stupidity, whichever you prefer to call it.

You need a 1st person shooter in your life. Helps relieve some stress.

Gears2 works for me. :)
Video game huh? I just got my grandson XBOX live a couple of months ago but his XBOX is in a box right now headed to repair after three red light problems. Do you get on XBOX live? He likes COD4 and some others. Maybe I should get him into the Volnation gamers to learn from the experts. Love the Volnationals but sometimes newbies take a while to get it.

I realy don't care how respected Big pop is, he is wrong. Is Prince a hot dog? sure, but he doesn't know what his motivation is. Can any of you "knowledge filled, respected computer jocks tell me what UT player with any signifigant play time has the most assists per minute played? Take a guess? Prince. But Pappa has sources that tell him that Prince only care about himself.
And for the guy who called me a "newbie". Seriously? If you will look you will see I have been registered for nearly 2 years, and I have been a vol fan for nearly 30 years. Just because I don't feel I have to comment every 2.5 minutes so people will "respect me" on a message board makes you think your opinion is superior?
I just get sick of all you desk chair studs who like to call out UT players. Prince should shut up more, I agree. He was not taunting at the time Knight called him out. He also plays as hard as anyone on the team. He is the only true dribble driver on the team. He also makes the most obvious mistakes, but no more mistakes then any one else.
Calling out a player for how he plays is fine. Pretending you have any clue what is in a guys head and heart is absolutely ridiculous, but seems to be par for the course from some of the "most respected and knowledgeabled" posters.

I have no clue why a guy (or girl) like you would soil your obviously busy life (since you never have a chance to get in here) discussing the thoughts of Tennessee basketball players during a game. Seems way too trivial for an important soul like yourself.

honestly I have no idea what that is, but if it's anything akin to a high fade, I'm all over it. This little draw is driving me nuts.

It's a video game in which it is 1st person... and you carry a gun around... and shoot people.
