Confines of Neyland Stadium!

I know that beating UGA is a tall order but people have been saying for several weeks how teams will simply sell out to stop the run. And with the exception of maybe the second half against Bama, no one has really been able to do it consistently. Also I think if the Thornton from Kentucky shows up, we'll have a decent shot in the passing game, not to mention the fact that Milton running really helps the offense. He had a great game against Kentucky that I don't think he got much credit for.
I feel so much faith for the time being on Joe Milton, the Kentucky game proved he can do it,his running the ball has opened up the offense

Two things to beat Georgia:
1. Refs not playing a factor
2. Can’t over throw wide open Warren in the end zone like Milton did at Alabama. Gonna need everything we can get.
We have already seen the horrible calls against the Vols and no calls on the other teams!Only one live call in 3 games against the other team!

Why not? We beat Kentucky with field goals. 3 pointers count according to the scoreboard. That is like saying we can not win without defensive turnovers. Which would not make any difference if we held them to 3 and outs.

The only criteria to winning a football game is having one more point on the scoreboard than the other team.
There are times when Tennessee needs to score a bunch of points to win,33 against Kentucky!

We have a good team, but at this point in the history of the two programs their A game is still better than our A game so basically we need to hope they don't have their A game and that we do. We need an all-time game from Pierce and the pass rush. UGA's OL is really good, best one we'll see this year. We also need no mistakes, and get a few breaks of our own. Also, word on the street down here is that Brock Bowers is going to be back sooner rather than later. Dude is just a freak.
They really haven't missed Bowers. They've plugged 2 other guys in there comfortably. WE need to get to Beck...often!

We will beat UGA if we get a fair whistle.
We will (get a fair whistle) because the refs like the applause when they call penalties in someone’s home stadium against the competition. That’s why you didn’t see much holding called against KY, like Alabama, the week prior.

Georgia held like hell against our receivers in their place and we’re called for a few…I don’t expect them to get with as much in Neyland.

Now, will we win? Not if we sit back and let Beck get comfortable. And who knows what the game plan will be with this defensive staff. One week aggressive, the next, make a an average QB look like an All American by sitting in that dreadful zone we play.

Warren should have jumped for that. Dude didnt even leave the ground. Hit him in the finger tips
It’s hard to spin and jump when you’re a bigger guy. Maybe he should’ve had it but that’s an easy easier throw for a quarterback than an easier catch for a TE.

If the Vols beat Missouri on the road, then the odds definitely move closer to UT beating UGA.
Call me crazy, but I actually see a loss to Mizzou and a win against UGA as the more likely scenario. First because it’s an away game, and second because CJH doesn’t like to lose, almost always following a loss with a win.

UGA will play us how Alabama did in the 2nd half. Its going to take a great game by more than 1 WR to beat UGA. I personally do not think those guys have it in them to have a good game against UGA. The only WR to have a good game against UGA was Tillman, he did it two years in a row. UGA will commit to the run like they do every year and make Joe beat them with his arm. They will grab and hold our WRs and the crap will not get called because the SEC has to protect its interest and make sure it gets a team into the playoffs.
No doubt they will, meaning the refs will blatantly cheat in their favor. Nevertheless it's a home game so we have a chance!

While I really want the Vols to beat the meat head, ass sniffing dawgs….I’m afraid they may be better than a lot of you think.

^^^This right here! Our offense has started clicking and they've found their groove! Milton looks comfortable out there. The receivers are catching the ball. And the running backs are gashing defenses!

I was pleasantly surprised by Milton throwing on the run this past week. I don’t think we’ve seen him do that much, if at all, but that will be critical against Georgia to give us a chance I think.

If I did my math right, after todays win, streak will be 15-0 in Neyland. The Georgia game 16-0. #16 Peyton manning will surely be in attendance. 16 - the number of times I’ve said F Georgia since I’ve been up today. Looking like it’s meant to be fellas.

You are arguing against our win over Alabama last year and our win over Kentucky this year.

In 1978 Alan Duncan kicked 5 field goals against Kentucky’s single TD. And guess what? We won. Your point is senseless. It is all about the scoreboard result.
No I am talking about losing to alabama this year because we missed opportunities for td and settled for field goals. If you score td in the first half we win the Alabama game this year but no we kicked field goals and lost

If our defense had played the second half we would have won. We beat Alabama last year by KICKING A FIELD GOAL!!!!

Yes, we did in a tight game but this year would have been a blow out and defense collapse wouldn’t have mattered in 2nd half if we convert the field goals into td. When you have a team on the ropes field goals just don’t tighten the screws it allows the defense to have a victory mentally
