It turns out that two players that didn't score a basket at the trials made the team. Why have the trials if you already have certain players picked before the trials even begin. The notion that players that performed best at the trials get picked went out the window at the U19 this year.
On the three teams: uconn has five players or commits; one, Gabby Williams, was cut. South Carolina has three players or commits. Lots of schools have one or two players who made one of the three teams. TN has two.
