I really cant complain about any aspect of that game. You were the better team and it showed from the beginning. I think you all played better that game than any other this season including the Pitt and Nova games. It was disturbing to watch and I actually headed to the bar early and left when they threw me out. For those of you wondering where Ive been, I just decided it was in our best interest if I took a day off. The pick my avatar contest can begin here or in the other thread if you so choose.

I can handle losing but the lack of effort was truly upsetting. Will Coleman looked to be the only player wearing blue that seemed to care that we were playing UT. Sad.

Perhaps our best game offensively (b/c shots were falling), but Pitt was far and away the best game this team has played this season. That game, UT looked like a Final Four team.

The think that worries me is which team are we? Nova-Pitt-Memphis or UTM-C of C?

I didnt plan on tucking my tail. I never planned on running. Taking yesterday off was a must though. Its going to be interesting when you all pick my avatar and my mt.org pals see it. Should lead to a lot of questions.

One or two games do not make a season. They are a talented, but very young team. I'm not sure that your coach is very good, other than recruiting. Hopefully, he will learn on the job and you'll do well the rest of the season.

From what I have heard from some of my good friends who attend practice, he is telling them what needs to be done they just have trouble processing it or listening in general. We have two players who are out there because they are trying to showcase for the NBA instead of trying to win games. All of our big men besides Tarik think they are 2 guards too. We piked up former Seton Hall transfer and Memphis native Farrakhon Hall this week so he should help in practice and will be eligible at Christmas next year. He can practice with the team.

Tell your freshmen to put on some weight! We looked good, but part of that was on your Tigers.

Thanks for taking it like a man. I can't say that I took our UNC football loss in the same manner!

Were you sitting right next to the student section in 125? I saw the security guards throw out a Memphis fan sitting there.

I wasnt at the game and honestly am glad I didnt make the trip. It was a sad exhibition. We start conference play Saturday and we will need a good CUSA record in order to make the dance.

Any worries with southern miss? They lookin good 12 and 2 but I don't keep up with them that much or really watched them play. I know gary flowers is pretty good

They are big and physical and Flowers is a beast. However, they dont have any playmakers besides Flowers on offense. If you can contain or get him out in foul trouble then they struggle quite a bit. Thats how Colorado State beat them. I think they end up #1 or #2 in CUSA regular season. Eustachy can coach when he gets players.

Yeah they need to do somethin this year its there best team in a long time

Their freshmen were too skinny. Even a moderately aggressive rebounding team is going to out rebound them on sheer weight alone.
