Congrats Reds, Cards have quit!

I don't think it has a thing to do with fire. The facts are that the Cardinals have too many "outs" in their lineup and they have gotten exactly zero consistency from the back end of their rotation.

Hell they haven't gotten consistency from 7 of the 9 batters

Perfect post. I've heard entirely too many Cardinals fans talk about them team quitting. I didn't know the new definition for quit was "not very good" or "with glaring weaknesses."

You sir are right. There are no good players on the Cards. I wish they were playing as well as Bruce and other Reds players were a month ago... You remember when the Reds swept the Cards at home...
Bottom line is when the Cards are on they beat whomever they are playing. But they haven't done what they need to and the Reds have. Teams that want to win beat the ****ty teams. It's that simple.

I knew some of u goobs would take this thread wrong. It is in no way shape or form meant as a slight on the Reds. Nobody beat their opponents better in August in the entire bigs than the Reds. They are where they are because of their play.
