Cordarelle Patterson to Vikings last year.

Other than Kiffin, we haven't had a talent-developer since the late-90s.

Agree...I think Fulmer just got too tangled into the politico of the situation sometime around 2000-2001 to really get involved in player dvelopment.

He seemed to leave it to his position coaches and coordinators...which REALLY hurt him since all of his position guys were short timers and one of his coordinator spots was a revolving door.

You left off Patterson in 2013

Really exciting to see. Miami fans are probably pissed right now, but they have no idea what they just drafted. James is a steal at RT.

I'm glad my Fins grabbed him - now maybe Tannehill won't be sacked too often on a 3 step drop....

Many non-UT Miami fans like James as a player but don't like that he was drafted at 19. There was a good chance that they could have traded down 5 slots (picking up a 3rd rounder) and still gotten him. But you don't really know if another team would have grabbed him before that lower pick.

Another reason for some grumbling is that Miami has not had a good track record drafting UT players. Eddie Moore, Jason Allen, and recently Dallas Thomas have not panned out for the Fins.

Dallas Thomas barely got his career started!

Congrat big guy... now PIMP SLAP Mike Pouncey first time you see him and let him know Vols don't play that in the NFL!!!!

What did he say about James ?

He tweeted (an I'm paraphrasing) glad to have the rookie on board and looking forward to all our gifts from him, lol. Really uncalled for and just plain dumb considering all of the stuff that happen with the Dolphins last season. I hope they cut his azz (Pouncey).
