Agreed. He probably didn't care until he was in striking distance. Same with Manning.

Had the Broncos been undefeated in week 14 with home feild locked up I'm not sure he would have gone for the record. I guess some of that would have been up to Fox.

While he's got several records this year, I won't be satsfied until he gets another Super Bowl ring to bring the season to end.

I don't care if he ever wins another ring. He has one and will have every QB record before he is done. That has been more than satisfying.

Yeah, I'll have to turn to only pulling for the Titans unless Dobbs or Ferguson or some other UT QB turns into a stud in the NFL. Not holding my breath for Bray or Simms.

Peyton is a special once in a generation player that we were incredibly blessed to have play at UT. The NFL won't be the same without him when he retires.

Nobody hates losing as much as Peyton Manning. I've heard is not a very pleasant person to be around immediately after a loss.

That is true about any great athlete in the history of sports - that anger and hate of losing is the fuel they use (without even realizing) to do whatever it takes to win. It is also something you can't teach - people are born with it and the great ones are ready to sacrifice more to achieve their goals (that plus obviously superb physical talent are the 2 key ingredients).
