Oh and...Screw the SEC! I root for ONE SEC team and that's the University of Tennessee Volunteers. The rest of the SEC can burn in hell for all I care.

It brings in millions of dollars for the schools because of all the giant TV contracts. The LSU/TN/FL National Championships generated millions of dollars for the conference. Alabama took their share and spent it wisely on Saban making him the highest paid coach. Alabama can't afford to make that hire if TV money is not as big. LSU is in the same boat, they can make Miles the highest paid coach to keep him from Michigan and so forth. Auburn just made Malzahn the highest paid assistant in order to keep him. The SEC can afford to buy the best coaches in America. And TN benifit's by being able to buy the best coaches from any other conference(if they choose) for our school. It's all about the MONEY!

Are you serious? They won because of Cam Newton. They are an 8-4 team at best without him. Auburn winning a NC doesn't help us one bit. The only good thing about it is that it probably pisses Bama fans off.

But Cam Newton was at FL. He chose to RETURN to the SEC! His FIRST choice was FL, but they were already stocked at QB. He picked the SEC again for one reason, that because every other school is a NC caliber program, he didn't even look at other conferences. Auburn just happen to be that one SEC program that was not stockpiled at QB and they could make Cam a starter from day one. All im saying is Auburn was a lot of players second third or fourth choice but FL and Bama didn't have room for them. Same for Dyer, he would went to Bama but they had two great RB already. Those chose the fourth best team in the SEC over the FIRST best team in any other conference!

I think TN fans have a warped perception of the SEC because of the incompetence of our AD right now. I'm in AL and I heard the same thing from AL and Auburn fans a few years ago. Now their saying thank god that the SEC has distributed all these millions of dollars to our school so we can afford to buy the best coaches and assistants we need at any cost. If TN had of hired a better AD and brought in Chris Peterson two years ago for $5 or $6 million then TN fans would be glad to have the talent that the money bought but instead our AD squandered the money! Hammy settled for mediocrity, its has nothing to do with Alabama, FL and Auburn winning. Those three have always won as much as anybody.

Auburn winning the NC game doesn't hurt or help us one way or the other. People need to relax with all the stupid fan comments.

Oh yes, if you are a real UT fan, you can only root for one team in the country, which would make for a rather boring football season IMO.:crazy:Especially when UT's championships come about once every 4 decades or so.

As long as the SEC continues to win, the best will come to the SEC to play with and against the best. The SEC being strong as a whole benefits UT. Always go for SEC teams when they are playing a team that is ooc. The more the conference wins the better we look when we win the SEC title. We have been so dominant as a conference that not putting an SEC team in the NC even if they are one loss in the conference really can't be justified. As much I can't stand Bama or Florida, I will always pull for them if they are playing an ooc opponent, but when they play the Vols I'm ready to slay.

The only time I will pull for florida, alabama and vandy is if it somehow helps tennessee, otherwise i hope they lose every game. i generally pull for everyone else. This auburn crap makes me sick. Clearly there was some crooked dealings going on and everyone except the knuckle dragging barners know it. It will probably come out in a couple years that pay for play was in play so the hell with auburn and their rented national title. GO VOLS
