Control Of House 2022

Then honestly the polling was wrong. I live in this district. It was 20+ years ago a solid red district. After 9/11, there was a large influx of Dem voters from the city and it became a toss up. Since Covid, property prices have sky-rocketed due to demand from people leaving the city and it has become a solid blue district. A sort of political gentrification, if you will.

Is the red wave already crashing?

Analysts are downgrading their forecasts for GOP gains. Republicans are suddenly struggling with cash shortages. And the party’s own Senate leader is warning publicly about the falling likelihood that Republicans win a majority in the upper chamber this November.

The mood has shifted among Republicans over the past several weeks, from a sense of unbridled optimism to one of sober reflection about their chances for victory.

What seemed like a foregone conclusion as recently as earlier this month, when Republicans registered a 5-point advantage in the generic ballot, which measures voters’ general preference for one party over the other, in two successive polls, is more of an open question today.

There's still time before the midterms but Republicans are not handling this well. They've nominated poor candidates, mostly on Trump's advice, and they've gone too far on the abortion front. They may pay a price for these mistakes in Nov. If so, I hope they learn a lesson

What are you going to do about the millions of people in said state that disagree with your idea of Tennessee culture, values, and views?

Here is what a blue state gov has to say about those that disagree with her

Kathy Hochul's call for 5.4M Republicans to leave New York is dangerous - Vigour Times

Gov. Kathy Hochul, who hasn’t proven shy about issuing orders, had one for the state’s Republicans this week — all 5.4 million of them: “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK?” she said. “You are not New Yorkers.”

Not different from what you and your ilk propose happens in TN.

Wanting to give Memphis to Arkansas is not the same as wanting Democrats to leave TN. Johnson City has very wide variety of people of all races /religions/ and sexual orientations and we mostly get along great. Most of the crime is either drug or domestic related. But yes I do want Steve Cohen to leave TN. Guilty.

If they don't win, it will be America that pays the price. And deserving so. If America is too ignorant to vote for the neo-communist party, then we get what we deserve.

You think America would be better off with the Walkers and Loomers of the world? Lol
