Look I wanted Gruden to as did most fans. His stardom as Super Bowl winning coach (winning record in NFL), served as a grad asistant under Majors and married a UT cheerleader were clues he might want to come be the head coach here. But, he wants to be back in the NFL and thats okay. Mostly, his popularity would have helped recruiting without a doubt and that may have led to an SEC title. But, did anyone honestly expect Gruden to stay here 10 years or more and build a program? Butch Jones said this was his dream job and he has had success as a winning head coach in college football, something Gruden cannot say. I'm going to give CBJ all the support I possibly can as well as everyone that is truly a Tennessee fan should. I did support Dooley until the Troy game, when they lit us up for over 700 yards and we narrowly escaped an embarrassing loss. The knee at the end of regulation against Missouri was the final straw for evey VOL fan and I have never heard so many boos even during the worst stretch of 2008 (Wyoming game) season. GO VOLS!!
