Cooper could be freshman of the year

Reynolds really started hitting threes as the season progressed last year. Reynolds is a very good player. Cooper will be a great player.

LOL. I have to admit, that was my initial reaction also.
Translation (I think)
All good big guards can play defense both on the PG and the shooting guard. Hopefully they can be disruptive and wear down our opponents.

Wow! Good job. I was lost as to what he was saying, but your translation makes sense.

On defense Cooper has to learn to be more disciplined with her hands...On offense she needs to slow down just a bit and get a little more control...She will be great soon, not just yet.

And even still yet, she's the best guard on the team by a country mile.

(I don't consider Diamond a guard, regardless of what UT wants to list her on the roster.)

I like how active she is on the defensive end. We need that. Haven't had that in a long time.

I liked when she played those two together last. I might be the only one though.

I liked it too! I think it forced Reynolds to step her level of play up! Carter didn't challenge Reynolds so she became complacent at times! Te'a is going to bring it every time so it makes Reynolds that much better. If we can get Middleton to understand she is one of our shooters from the outside and run from corner to corner spotting up ready to take the shot because Diamond and Te'a will get to the rim and we need our shooters to be ready to knock it down.

good insight, imho AM needs to spot up and shoot the rock!

I hate Uconn but the thing they have been exceptional at is having their shooters in position to take 3PT shots and their players understand if its thrown to me the only thing I have to do is shoot. Kaleena Mosequda(?) Lewis was best at doing that she could flat out shoot and always got the the spot coming off screens or trailing that they kicked the ball to her and she had to shoot, eventually teams started noticing that and moving players on her and then she started slashing to the basket which made them a more dangerous team. We have a lot of potential but we can't have players just standing around. They have to be ready to unload when its given to them and not thinking about what they should do with it because I bet you Diamond and Te'a will throw up 50 shots if they have too

When Middleton tries to drive to the basket, trouble usually follows....Just shoot the ball girl.

She does best when she spots up and shoots from about 10-12 feet out..I agree, when she drives to the basket, it usually results in a turnover..Did it a lot last season, so you would have thought she would have learned her lesson..Against Central Arky, I thought she did...
